Ludden Athletics FAQ's:
Are there any fees for participating in school sports?
There are many expenses associated with participating in a school-sponsored sport, including transportation, insurance and uniforms. Fees are charged for each sport the student participates in to offset these costs. Students who participate in more than one sport are assessed a smaller fee for the consecutive sports. All fees must be submitted before your child can participate in any sports program.
For exact fees, consult the Parent’s Handbook.
Are gym lockers available?
Athletic lockers are available from the Phys. Ed. teachers at the beginning of the year. Your child may purchase a lock from the physical education department. This lock may be used the entire time your child is at Bishop Ludden.
May parents attend sports assemblies?
If your child participates in a fall, winter or spring sport, you are invited to the assembly to honor the team.
Will I need to purchase equipment or uniforms for my child?
In addition to the sports fee, your child may be required to purchase sports equipment or uniform items. Some teams also require uniform practice apparel. Your child will be given this information by his or her coach.
Is student transportation provided for sporting events?
Student athletes are usually bused to events at other schools. It is a parent’s responsibility to pick students up at Bishop Ludden after practices or games
