Mrs. Kristin Schoeneck
Director of Counseling; 10-12 Grade Counselor
Mrs. Kristin Schoeneck has been a school counselor for 15 years, joining the staff at Bishop Ludden in 2013. She is the director of guidance and is the school counselor for students in grades 10 through 12.
Outside of school, Mrs. Kristin Schoeneck is an avid runner and proudly displays her medals in her office.
Mrs. Schoeneck also likes to travel to different cities and states, especially with three of her cousins who also do half marathons.
Outside of running, Mrs. Schoeneck’s biggest accomplishment are her children. She enjoys spending time with them and her husband.
Ms. Carissa Gilbert
7-9 Grade Counselor
A native of Central New York, Ms. Carissa Gilbert earned a degree in School Counseling from Xavier University, a Jesuit, Catholic university in Cincinnati, Ohio. She returned to the area and joined the Bishop Ludden staff in 2016.
Ms. Gilbert is the counselor for students in grades 7 through 9.
Mr. Geoff Baer
Mr. Baer comes to us with over 30 years as a School Counselor and Mental Health professional. He has always had a deep and sincere connection to his Church and Parish life and loves his role with us as a Support Counselor working closely with Mrs. Schoeneck and Ms. Gilbert, staff and administration.
Mr. Baer loves the ocean, surfing and boogie boarding. He loves the outdoors and is a Shifu in Chen style Taiji & Qigong, as well as a TA for Dr. Yang Yang, a world renowned Grand Master known as one of the “4 Tigers of Chen”.
Mr. Baer’s demeanor and soft approachability gives people a sense of calm, trust and hope. Mr. Baer is highly skilled in anxiety reduction, neuroscience approach’s to fear and panic and practices as a holistic counselor; serving the whole person.
