Application Process

Joining the Bishop Ludden Junior-Senior High School family comes with immense excitement and pride as students embark on an academic and spiritual journey of fulfillment. Step 1

Schedule a Visit

We invite you and your family to visit Bishop Ludden’s 26-acre campus. We also encourage you to take a campus tour, meet with our admissions staff, and talk to our students and faculty. We welcome you to our athletic events and performing arts concerts, plays and musical, as well as our wonderful Bishop Ludden traditions.

Private Tour

(optional) This year, we are offering private tours by appointment. Families can come and explore our campus; meet with administration and teachers; and discover more information about why Bishop Ludden is a great place to be!

Tours will be offered by appointment only, any day of the week starting on November 19. Please email or call (315) 579-0086 to schedule a date and time for your visit. We look forward to seeing you!

Knight for a Day

(optional) Although Bishop Ludden’s classrooms look a bit different this year, students in grades six and above are encouraged to become a “Knight for a Day” and “shadow” a current Bishop Ludden student for the school day. Students will be paired with one of our student guides and attend classes, enjoy lunch and participate in the day’s activities with Ludden students. Being a “Knight for a Day” is a wonderful opportunity to experience first-hand the excitement, challenge, and growth that Bishop Ludden Jr. Sr. High School offers! Scholarship Exam

(optional) Academic scholarships at Bishop Ludden are distributed based on results of the annual scholarship exam. Only students entering 7th and 9th grade may take the scholarship exam. The results of the scholarship exam have no effect on admission. The exam is not required and is only for students who wish to be considered for academic scholarships. Scholarship Exams for students looking to enter Bishop Ludden in the 2023-2024 school year will be held November, 5. The cost to take the scholarship exam is $30. Priority consideration for admission and financial aid to Bishop Ludden  for the 2022-2023 school year, applications should be received by January 31 2022. Consideration will be given  after that date, but availability for financial aid could be affected. Additionally depending on class space students could be placed on a waiting list. Tuition rates for the 2022-23 school will be available in December.

Step 3


Students who choose not to shadow for a day at Bishop Ludden may be asked to meet with the Director of Enrollment Management, Principal, Guidance Counselor and Dean of Students for an interview.

Step 4

Financial Aid

For more information on the financial aid process, including forms and FAQ’s, visit our Financial Aid page. Students must first be accepted to Bishop Ludden before applying for financial aid. Please apply for financial aid before February 15th, 2022.
