Complete the steps below to begin your path as a Bishop Ludden student and experience the Bishop Ludden difference.

Step 1

Schedule a Visit

We invite you and your family to visit Bishop Ludden’s 26-acre campus. We also encourage you to take a campus tour, meet with our admissions staff, and talk to our students and faculty. We welcome you to our athletic events and performing arts concerts, plays and musical, as well as our wonderful Bishop Ludden traditions.

Open House

(optional) A great way to see all that Bishop Ludden has to offer is to visit during one of our Open House dates. Our next open house is Sunday, October 20th from 1-3pm. No pre-registration required!

knight for a day - Application Process

Knight for a Day

(optional) Students in grades six and above are encouraged to become a “Knight for a Day” and “shadow” a current Bishop Ludden student for the school day. Students will be paired with one of our student guides and attend classes, enjoy lunch and participate in the day’s activities with Ludden students. Being a “Knight for a Day” is a wonderful opportunity to experience first-hand the excitement, challenge, and growth that Bishop Ludden Jr. Sr. High School offers! Scholarship Exam

(optional) Academic scholarships at Bishop Ludden are distributed based on results of the annual scholarship exam. Only students entering 7th and 9th grade may take the scholarship exam. The results of the scholarship exam have no effect on admission. The exam is not required and is only for students who wish to be considered for academic scholarships. Scholarship Exams for students looking to enter Bishop Ludden in the 2020-2021 school year will be held Saturday, November 16th at 8am or Saturday, December 7th at 8am. Step 2

Apply to Bishop Ludden

Download the Application for Admission and return the form to the Admissions Office at Bishop Ludden.
Please return the form in one of the following ways:

  1. Mail to Bishop Ludden, 815 Fay Road, Syracuse NY, 13219
  2. Fax to (315) 468-0097 with attention to the admissions department
  3. Email to Courtnee Corcoran, Director of Enrollment, at ccorcoran@syrdiocese.org.

**To expedite the decisions process, please include a copy of your student’s most recent report card with the Application for Admission.

Before your application can be processed, the following fees must also be returned to the main office:

  1. Registration Fee: $25 – waived if application completed before January 11th
  2. Tuition Deposit: $50 – non-refundable after June 1st

Step 3

Interview

Students who choose not to shadow for a day at Bishop Ludden may be asked to meet with the Director of Admissions, Principal, Guidance Counselor and Dean of Students for an interview.

Step 4

Financial Aid

For more information on the financial aid process, including forms and FAQ’s, visit our Financial Aid page. Students must first be accepted to Bishop Ludden before applying for financial aid. Please apply for financial aid before February 15th.
