Today, the majority of Bishop Ludden students receive some form of tuition assistance to attend the School. Your annual support of Bishop Ludden can be restricted to tuition assistance to benefit the student immediately. When making your gift, simply note online, return envelope or check that you would like your annual gift to be designated for tuition assistance. Your gift will be added to the tuition assistance budget to provide assistance to students for the current fiscal year.
Establish an Endowed Scholarship
An endowed scholarship is one of the most meaningful ways alumni, parents, past parents, grandparents and friends can help Bishop Ludden students. Gifts to endowed or permanent scholarships are invested with a portion of the interest awarded annually, so that they provide tuition assistance in perpetuity. Endowed scholarships provide an opportunity to honor a family member or friend, memorialize a loved one or commemorate a significant life event.
Our scholarship donors have the opportunity to meet the recipient of their scholarship. In addition, names of all scholarships are listed on plaques outside our chapel. There is no minimum level to endow a scholarship at Bishop Ludden. With careful planning, any gift is possible. Our development staff is willing to work with you and /or your financial advisor to design a plan for giving that best meets your financial needs.
- Endowed gifts can be established through outright gifts of cash, a gift of securities or stock, a bequest, or other planned gift, or a combination of gifts.
- Classmates, family members or friends can also join together to establish a scholarship – an excellent way to make an endowed scholarship more affordable.
- For more information on how you can fund an endowed scholarship, please contact the development office at 315.459.7201
