Algebra II
Course Description
This course is the third course required for an Advanced Regents Diploma. Topics studied in this course include exponential and logarithmic functions, conics, complex numbers, advanced probability, advanced statistics, and binomial expansions and regressions. The trig sections of the course include the unit circle, trig inverse functions, co-functions, trig graphs, and trig applications. A graphing calculator is required. Students will take the Algebra II Common Core Regents in June. Prerequisite: Successful completion of Geometry (and Regents Exam) or Algebra II NR.
