Physical Education – Yoga Unit

Since February is Heart Healthy month, Physical Education teacher, Mary Klink, talked to the students about heart disease and the contributing factors. Among the factors is stress and anxiety. Yoga is an option to help reduce stress and anxiety!
Yoga has other benefits such as: it can increase focus and concentration, and it promotes calmness. We also talked about how it builds strength, coordination, and flexibility.
